Urney Youth & Titan Cup

Football

Our seniors and reserves finished their season on Sunday when the traveled to Strabane for their final league game of 2010. Our reserves lost out on a score of  3-16 to 1-09.  A speedy recover to Shane McGill who got injured in the game.

Our seniors finished on a high with a very good performance to won 1-11 to 0-04. This finished of a very good year the team finished 7th in the league 1 place outside the promotion play offs.

A big thank you to Eugene, Patsy, Gerard and Iggy  and all the players for their hard work all year.

Our under 21 team are waiting their upcoming championship Q/F and are organizing some challenge games.

Fundraising Draw

Final draw is on this  Saturday 23rd of October in the clubrooms.  Music on the night by Andy Davidson.  Starts after Ireland V Australia rules game. Draw will take place at 10pm approx. there is still a limited number of tickets available.

Dinner Dance

Our annual Dinner Dance is on Saturday the 13Th of  November in the Fir Trees hotel. Music on the night is by Marty Fay and the Banditos. Price £20 and tickets should be booked A.S.A.P with Bridget Langan.

Youth
Our U10s had a very enjoyable day out at Croke park last Saturday and they would like to thank Eugene and John for looking after them for the day and also to all their sponsor`s for making it possible. Fundamental training continues in Doneyloop Hall 6.30-7.30 on Wednesday 27 October. Parent must accompany children.
Lotto

There was no jackpot winner of the lotto this week, There was 2 match 3 winner.
The winners were Grace Curry Clady and Mrs Mc Callion The Hall. The numbers were 9,10,18, 23. Next weeks jackpot will be £4000.00. Everyone please make an effort to sell or promote our lotto as it is the clubs main source of income.

Sympathy

The club extends sympathy to the family of Mark Geraghty, Letterkenny, brother of club member Sandra Geraghty. Mary Queen of the Gael pray for him.
